Ovarian Cancer Canada - Walk of Hope
Hope doesn’t wait, it drives change. A walk/run fundraiser for ovarian cancer in Canada.

A fresh take on OCC’s Walk of Hope
This brand and redesign was a big step forward for OCC’s 2025 Walk of Hope! The previous site had a dated look and feel that did not match the main website’s recent brand refresh. The client was looking for a seamless transition from their site to the event site and this was the result of careful discovery conversations and attention to detail in keeping the brand as cohesive as possible on the separate Teamraiser website platform.
I designed the 2025 Walk of Hope fundraising site for Ovarian Cancer Canada, supporting a nationwide peer-to-peer event that raises vital funds for ovarian cancer research and support.
The goal was to create a hopeful, action-driven experience that felt welcoming to both new and returning participants. Working within the TeamRaiser platform I focused on visual clarity, mobile usability and accessible design; streamlining key actions like registration, donation and team creation.
Using the organization’s bold black and teal palette I crafted a clean, energetic design system that balanced warmth (with cool toned colours!) and urgency. This was a key issue for this project, bringing it forward into the new brand that OCC had recently developed. Real photography and clear calls to action helped foster community connection and drive engagement.
I delivered a cohesive, branded site that supports hundreds of participants across the country. The final product is both functional and emotionally resonant, designed to inspire action and make an impact.

I’ll share a secret about good design:
solves a problem, stays timeless, generates emotion, takes a risk and leaves an impression
